Our Story
Treasure Box Tours is a Denver-based tour and travel company that creates interesting, fun experiences by looking beyond popular tourist spots and, instead, designing outings around local expertise and recommendations. Our team of tour guides had been doing this for more than two decades through partnerships with other tour and travel agencies when Covid-19 hit. Then, we saw that something was missing: self-guided tour options that were just as enjoyable as traditional group outings. Treasure Box Tours is here to offer you both: self-guided, private excursions and group journeys that promise to give you a unique look at every destination. In other words, we’re here to get you to X.

The Experience
Kevin S.
Kevin originally marched to good grammar and punctuation. Marrying into history, he learned through exposure. Later, he saw a great need — a great need for fascinating and enriching tours given in impeccable good grammar, pronunciation and inclusion of words like prelapsarian and sedulous. Kevin's goal is not to travel with clients, but to travel with friends. Dedicated, attentive and occasionally irreverent, Kevin is our experience worth having.

The Architect
Michael V.
Born and raised in Colorado, Michael has always had a strong passion for travel and exploring the world. He has a BS in Natural Resource Recreation & Tourism from Colorado State University and has been a tour guide, planner and director for over 6 years in Colorado. He’s traveled extensively in the United States and internationally, having gone to over 24 countries, and hopes to continue to add to that tally as the years go on. The guest is always top of mind when it comes to Michael’s travel planning, so you’re sure to have a great time with TBT!
