It’s the last of our Colorado rivers to trace, and we cap it off with an unforgettable journey tracing the southern Rio Grande River from El Paso, Texas, to the stunning shores of South Padre Island. This adventure showcases the breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and unique culture of the region. Explore the dramatic canyons and rugged beauty of Big Bend National Park, where the river carves through towering cliffs. Step back in time at the Judge Roy Bean Museum, learning about the legendary "Law West of the Pecos." Along the way, visit scenic overlooks, historic sites, and charming river towns that highlight the Rio Grande’s significance. The journey culminates on the Gulf Coast, where the river meets the sea, offering a perfect finale to this extraordinary exploration of the American Southwest.
